Bulgaria Partnership

A New Season

During our July 6th, 2023 Connectional Council meeting, a ministry partnership between the MidTexas Provisional Annual Conference and Bulgarian Provisional Annual Conference was unanimously approved. Since that time, 2 teams have visited Bulgaria, getting to know the congregations, worshiping together, and conducting prayer workshops. Plans are underway for Revive ministries to hold summer camp with the youth of Bulgaria in 2026. We hope to send district teams in the near future as well, to visit and spend time getting to know their partner congregations.
MidTexas Conference is assisting the Bulgarian church financially for the time being. The Bulgarian Provisional Annual Conference has a detailed plan to become financially self-sustaining within five years. Through the retirement of elders and combining circuits rather than replacing elders, they are seeking to decrease their salary needs. While the Bulgarian Provisional Annual Conference needs financial resources from MidTexas Annual Conference, we benefit from deep and meaningful relationships with sister congregations in Bulgaria. You are encouraged to connect with the Bulgaria GMC church assigned to your covenant area and share about what God is doing in and through your local church.
